It’s very apparent that as Purdue travels to Bloomington, Ind., and plays No. 1 Indiana on Saturday, the timing of the game couldn’t come at a worse time for the Boilermakers.
Add in the fact that Indiana visited Purdue last month and embarrassed the Boilers by 37 points, and it doesn’t look good.
As providing any background on Penn State was unimportant weeks ago (Purdue just had to play its game, Penn State is that bad), so is dissecting the matchup between Purdue and Indiana.
That’s because there is a “mistmatch” with every matchup on the court. Indiana just has better players than Purdue; it’s that simple. I expect Indiana to win this game by 20 or more, and it could be a lot worse.
If you thought Indiana was trying to embarrass Purdue in Mackey, imagine what it’s going to try to do on Saturday afternoon.
